Chief Minister inaugurates new station and office buildings

Honourable Chief Minister of Tamilnadu Thiru. M. K. Stalin inaugurated new station and office buildings of Fire and Rescue Services Department constructed with a budget of Rs. 15.34 crores on 17.02.2024 through Video conferencing.

13 staff quarters, 4 new buildings of stations & 2 new combined buildings of station with the District Office were constructed, featuring advanced infrastructure for firefighting and rescue operations.

Top officials, including Home Secretary Mrs.P. Amutha IAS, Director of Tamilnadu Fire and Rescue Services DGP Abhash Kumar IPS and  Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Police Housing Corporation Limited DGP Dr. A. K. Viswanathan, IPS were present during this inauguration function.

New combined buildings of Station with District Office:

2.⁠ ⁠Tuticorin – Tuticorin

New Station Buildings:

1.⁠ ⁠Aravakkurichi – Karur

2.⁠ ⁠Ranipet – Ranipet

3.⁠ ⁠Rajapalayam – Virudhunagar

4.⁠ ⁠Sankarankovil – Tenkasi

Staff Quarters:

1.⁠ ⁠Chetpet – Thiruvannamalai
