Inauguration of State-level Sports Meet 2022
Director of Tamilnadu Fire and Rescue Services, DGP Shri. B K Ravi IPS inaugurated the State-level sports meet 2022 for Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue Services officers and staffs at Nehru Stadium, Coimbatore on 21.09.2022 by lighting the lamp. The sports meet is held among the Western, Northern, Southern, Central and North-west Region Employees.
Director/ DGP Shri. B K Ravi IPS hoisted the national flag and Mr. S. Vijayasekar, Additional Director (Operations and Training) hoisted the departmental flag while Western Region representative received the Kreeda Jyoti (sports torch) from the Director, Fire and Rescue Services. Doves symbolizing peace were also released to the sky at the inaugural function.
About 200 sportspersons are participating over the next three days in various sports events which include Volleyball, Basketball, Athletics, Swimming and Departmental Events like, Squad Drill, Hose laying, Rope Climing, Tactical Madley Relay and Ladder Drill. The sports meet will end on 23rd September 2022 following the Cultural programmes in the evening.
Joint Directors, Deputy Directors, District Officers, Assistant District Officers, other Officials and staffs were also present on the occasion.
