Chief Minister inaugurates new Vehicles of TNFRS

On 15.12.2023, honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Thiru. M K Stalin inaugurated at the Secretariat, various Vehicles and special appliances procured at the cost of Rs. 63.30 crores for the Fire and Rescue Services Department. The vehicles and special appliances include 3 Aerial Platform Ladder Vehicles, 7 High-Pressure Mobile Tank Units, 20 Water Bowsers, 20 Mobile Tank Units, 16 Jeeps for the District Officers, and 2 Troop Carriers for transporting personnel and equipment during disasters. Chief Secretary Mr. Shiv Das Meena IAS,  Home Secretary Mrs. P. Amudha IAS, Director of Tamilnadu Fire and Rescue Services DGP Abhash Kumar IPS and Mrs. N. Priya Ravichandran, Joint Director, Northern Region along with senior government officials were present in this event.
