DGP Dr. C. Sylendra Babu inaugurates the basic training for 178 Firemen recruits
The 3-month basic training for 178 firemen recruited by Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board commenced in Chennai, Coimbatore and Ranipettai districts. In the inaugural ceremony held at Tambaram State Training Centre Chennai, the Director of Tamilnadu Fire and Rescue Services Dr. C. Sylendra Babu issued Joining Orders and spoke to them about the importance of training and the vital role firemen play as first responders during any emergencies .The Director parallelly inaugurated the temporary training centres in Coimbatore and Ranipet Districts via Video Conference. The event was attended by officials including Joint Directors, Deputy Directors, District Officers and Assistant District Officers.
