International Women’s Day, 2024

International Women’s Day was celebrated at the Fire Services Directorate, Egmore, Chennai on March 8, 2024. Women Officers and Women Staffs working in the department participated in the celebration. 

During this event, various activities such as sports competitions, cultural performances including music and dance, were organized for women officers and staff members.

Director of Tamilnadu Fire and Rescue Services DGP Abhash Kumar IPS distributed prizes to the winners. Joint Director, Northern Region Mrs. Meenakshi Vijayakumar and district Officers were present during the celebration.
