Seminars to hospital staffs on fire safety measures

Seminars on fire safety measures to be undertaken in government, private hospitals and corona treatment centers were held at all the districts of the state. Doctors, administrators, safety officers and security personnel from Corona treatment centers and hospitals participated in the seminars.

In the wake of fire accidents occured at Hospitals in Vijayawada, Mumbai, Ahmedabad where many Corona patients under treatment lost their lives and to prevent such incidents in future, Director of Tamilnadu Fire and Rescue Services, DGP Dr. C. Sylendra Babu IPS inaugurated the seminar at District office, Kilpauk and  explained the need for fire safety in hospitals. Fire prevention methods, actions to be taken in the event of a Fire accident, proper maintenance of Fire protection systems were explained and various mock drills were demonstrated during the seminars.
