Cycle rally to spread Fire Safety Message

As a part of the Fire Service week, a Cycle rally was organised in Madurai on 20.04.2023 at 07.30 AM in view of observing fire safety week from April 14 to April 20 under the theme “Awareness in fire safety for Growth of National Infrastructure (AGNI)”. Madurai District Collector Dr. S. Aneesh Sekhar, IAS flagged off the rally from Tallakulam Fire Station. Deputy Director, Southern Region Thiru. N. Vijayakumar and District Fire Officer, Madurai Thiru. S. Vinoth were present at the event. 

The team paid homage to all the firemen who had lost their lives during their service across the state, besides creating awareness among the people on the service rendered by the department. The cycle rally covered 35 kilometre from Tallakulam Fire Station to Tirumangalam Fire Station. Over 100 volunteers along with fire department personnel along with took part in the cycle rally.
