Firefighter died a heroic death during the rescue operation
Fire fighter R.Rajkumar of 2006 batch died of suffocation after rescuing one unconscious labourer and while attempting to rescue the second labourer who were trapped inside a newly dug 65 feet well at Selliampalayam in Perambalur district on 12th June. He is survived by his wife and two children. There is no bigger sacrifice known to mankind than to sacrifice his life on line of duty. We are duty bound to truly honour their supreme sacrifice.
