Foundation Training to Newly recruited District Officer and Firemen

On 15.07.2023, the Director of Tamilnadu Fire and Rescue Services DGP Abhash Kumar IPS, has inaugurated the Foundation Training for newly recruited District Officer Tmt. B. Erusammal and 137th batch Firemen training at state training centre, Tambaram, Chennai.

120 candidates selected for the post of fireman are under basic fireman training for 3 months at State Training Centre, Tambaram. New District Officer will undergo a course of training at State Training Centre, Tambaram for a period of 4 months.

Director of Tamilnadu Fire and Rescue Services DGP Abhash Kumar IPS addressed the gathering emphasising the importance of the foundation training. He handed over the appointment letters to the newly recruited firemen during the ceremony.

Additional Director Mr. S. Vijaya Sekar, Joint Director, Northern Region, Mrs. Priya Ravichandran, Joint Director of State Training Centre Mrs.Meenakshi Vijayakumar were present in the event.
