Tribute to the memory of Martyrs – 2023

          Every year 14th of April is observed all over the Nation as National Fire Service Day. A commemoration parade is held in which all fire personnel who lost their lives in line of duty are paid homage. From 14th to 20th of April, Fire Service Week is celebrated. 

           To commemorate this, the head of the state police force DGP Dr. C. Sylendra Babu IPS, The Director of Tamilnadu Fire and Rescue Services, DGP Mr. Abhash Kumar IPS, Chairman and Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Police Housing Corporation DGP Shri. A.K. Viswanathan IPS paid homage to the memorial and laid wreaths at the memorial column on 14.04.2023 at 08:00 AM.

           Shri. S.Ramani IPS, DGP (Retd.), Shri. S. Ganapathy IPS, DGP (Retd.), Shri. R. Nataraj IPS, DGP (Retd.), Additional Director (Operation & Training) Mr. S. Vijayasekar, Joint Director, Northern Region Tmt. N. Priya Ravichandran also paid homage to the memorial. This event was attended by many senior officials from Tamilnadu Police and Tamilnadu Fire and Rescue Services Department.
