Tribute to the memory of Martyrs – 2025

    Every year 14th of April is observed all over the Nation as National Fire Service Day. A commemoration parade is held in which all fire personnel who lost their lives in line of duty are paid homage. From 14th to 20th of April, Fire Service Week is celebrated. 

           To commemorate this, The Director of Tamilnadu Fire and Rescue Services, DGP Mrs. Seema Agrawal IPS paid homage to the memorial and laid wreaths at the memorial column on 14.04.2025 at 08:00 AM.

           Lieutenant General Mr. Karanbir Singh Brar, Shri. S.Ramani IPS, DGP (Retd.), Shri. S. Ganapathy IPS, DGP (Retd.), Shri. R. Nataraj IPS, DGP (Retd.), Shri. Abhash Kumar IPS, DGP (Retd.), Joint Director Western Region Shri. P. Saravanakumar, Joint Director, Northern Region Shri. G. Sathyanarayanan also paid homage to the memorial. This event was attended by many senior officials from Tamilnadu Police and Tamilnadu Fire and Rescue Services Department.

         “Unite to Ignite, a fire safe India” is the theme for 2025 selected by the Government of India to create awareness among the public on Fire safety and fire prevention.
